About us

" Amarina Farm is centrally located in the Hunter Valley, with a terrific aspect.  Amarina has been developed into an extremely well appointed farm, that produce well grown and presented yearlings for the sale ring and more importantly as racehorses of the future" VIN COX, BLOODSTOCK AGENT.

Amarina Farm was established in 2006 and specialises in thoroughbred agistment and sales preparation.  It is run by respected Hunter Valley horseman Craig Anderson and his wife Sue in partnership with Gavin Murphy and Catherine Donovan.  Set over 420 acres, the knowledgeable team at Amarina ensure the farm is always running efficiently and the horses are provided with first-rate, safe facilities, and the best nutrition available.

Though relatively young, Amarina is fast establishing a name as one of the must-see drafts at the sales.  Top trainers, such as Gai Waterhouse, Mick Price, Lee Freedman, and Kris Lees, are purchasing Amarina stock and having success.  The Amarina draft also has international appeal with horses being sold to Hong Kong, Singapore, New Zealand, South Africa, and Great Britain.
